Cancellation Terms and Conditions
All attendees require a valid ticket for entry and must present it for scanning at the door. If attending in a group, please either arrive together or distribute individual tickets so guests can arrive and enter independently if needed.
This is a strictly no BYO beverage event. No alcohol or non-alcoholic drinks are permitted to be brought onsite. Guests are welcome to bring their own food if they wish to enjoy a picnic-style experience; however, glassware of any kind is not permitted. A selection of beverages will be available for purchase on the day to complement your meal.
The event is held on grassed grounds. We recommend wearing suitable footwear such as wedges, sandals, or a heeled boot for comfort and stability.

Weather & Event Changes
In the event of extreme weather, an update regarding the status of the event will be provided by close of business (5:00pm) on Friday 4 September 2026 by event management.
If the event is unable to proceed due to circumstances outside of event management’s control, a representative from the Samford Long Lunch committee will contact ticket holders by close of business (5:00pm) on Friday 4 September 2026. In this instance:
Menu orders will still be available for collection via The Lunch Connoisseur on Friday 11 September 2026
Event ticket funds will be fully refunded
Please note that booking fees associated with event tickets and food packages are non-refundable in the case of change of mind
