Cancellation Terms and Conditions

  • All attendees require a valid ticket for entry and must present it for scanning at the door. If attending in a group, please either arrive together or distribute individual tickets so guests can arrive and enter independently if needed.

  • This is a strictly no BYO beverage event. No alcohol or non-alcoholic drinks are permitted to be brought onsite. Guests are welcome to bring their own food if they wish to enjoy a picnic-style experience; however, glassware of any kind is not permitted. A selection of beverages will be available for purchase on the day to complement your meal.

  • The event is held on grassed grounds. We recommend wearing suitable footwear such as wedges, sandals, or a heeled boot for comfort and stability.

Weather & Event Changes

In the event of extreme weather, an update regarding the status of the event will be provided by close of business (5:00pm) on Friday 4 September 2026 by event management.

If the event is unable to proceed due to circumstances outside of event management’s control, a representative from the Samford Long Lunch committee will contact ticket holders by close of business (5:00pm) on Friday 4 September 2026. In this instance:

  • Menu orders will still be available for collection via The Lunch Connoisseur on Friday 11 September 2026

  • Event ticket funds will be fully refunded

  • Please note that booking fees associated with event tickets and food packages are non-refundable in the case of change of mind
